Young folks have dreams

Strange as it seems

They face every day

While finding their way

God gave them a guide

That they just can’t hide

The road is long

But faith keeps them strong

Young folks stay in prayer

Cause they know God is there

They hold each other close

Cause bonding matters most

They hang on God’s word

Cause that’s all they’ve heard

To no surprise

They’re focused on the prize

They know what’s by design

So, everything is fine

They have a home

Where their souls can roam

And young folks have God’s affection

As well as protection

Young folks see what they’ll gain

Through stress and strain

They’ve learned to smile

Even laugh a little while

They have a place

To run their race

They know what lies ahead

They feel no dread

God turned them around

Put them on solid ground

Young folks have no fear

Cause God almighty is near

They’ll learn as they go

They’ll share what they know

They’ll take one step at a time

While still in their prime

God’s not done

Every moment will be second to none

Young folks planted seeds

That lead to good deeds

Here come the young folks
