Facing another day
Accepting God’s way
Gaining a renewed strength
As we talk with God at length
Learning to stand
As He holds our hand
The heart running free
Seeing what’s meant to be
Hearing an encouraging word
Being grateful for what we’ve heard
Resting in a place
Filled with mercy and grace
Remembering who we are
As we reach for a star
Seeing our purpose
As it rises to the surface
Letting go of fear
As we see God standing near
Keeping faith close
Cause it matters most
Knowing what makes life whole
Is the satisfied soul
Getting through every storm
Defying every norm
Feeling God’s affection
Having His protection
Seeing what’s in stone
Knowing we’re not alone
Keeping love anew
Changing our point of view
Letting our feelings show
Sharing what we know
Planting the seeds
That lead to good deeds
Standing very tall
God answering every call
Wearing a smile
That last quite awhile
Reaching our peak
Whenever we hear God speak
Lifting one voice
As we begin to rejoice
Letting go of doubt
As God works things out
Learning to live
Learning to give
Learning to love
Like heaven above
