We completed a journey

Meant just for us only

By talking with God at length

We saw life lessons learned

All the stripes we’ve earned

We found our purpose

Lying at the surface

We built new dreams

Strange though it seems

We looked in our hearts

Then saw where love starts

We held our faith close

Cause faith matters most

God fought the enemy

He revealed what’s meant to be

We saw what’s in stone

We realized we’re not alone

We learned to stand

As we held God’s hand

We shared an encouraging word

That deserves to be heard

And we started life anew

When we saw what God can do

Yesterday

We built a bond

From here and beyond

We enjoyed moments of pleasure

Beyond all measure

We followed our guide

Our gratitude we can’t hide

God filled our core

Before He offered us more

We found a place

Filled with mercy and grace

We found solid ground

We shared the joy we found

We fell then rose again

Cause faith helped us win

We passed another test

Just like all the rest

We felt God’s power

Hour after hour

We didn’t pretend

God’s love didn’t end

We traveled far

As God healed every scar

I started life anew

I saw what God can do

To celebrate my second chance

As God removed my shame

When something is for you, all you have to do is be you to receive it.

When God says trust me because He has already gone ahead.

Never doubt what God can do.
