How to share what we know

We’ve faced naysayers galore

While praying for more

We’ve continued the journey

We’ve searched for solid ground

Not know how to turn around

We’ve felt some pain

Not knowing what we’d gain

Wonder what we’d call our own

We’ve wondered what we’d face

As we continue our race

We’ve been used

We’ve been confused

We’ve searched for peace

We’ll never release

We’ve searched the soul

For what makes life whole

We’ve searched for love

Sent by heaven above

That shines day and night

We’ve fallen to our knees

Wondering who to please

But despite a rough landing

We’re still standing

During the long walk home

We let our souls roam

We talked about the plan

God reveals when He can

We held each other close

Cause our bond matters most

We shared the dreams

That make us burst at the seams

We lifted one voice

Before we began to rejoice

We embraced the way

We live every day

We found something pure

We began to feel secure

And we said a silent prayer

Cause we knew God was there

During the long walk home

We forgot about the past

We made the moment last

We carried the lessons

That became heartfelt confessions

We found our purpose

Lying at the surface

We turned over every stone

Before finding a love of our own

We found a safe place

To walk at our own pace

We shared what we learned

We revealed the stripes we earned

We saw what’s real

What’s too difficult to conceal

God dried every tear

God removed every fear

He put us on a new journey

One meant for us only

We shared a smile

That lasted quite awhile

We gained strength

As we talked at length

And our souls continued to roam

During the long walk home

God is saying to you today, “Before this month is over, God will give you a reason to celebrate. Your situation has been overwhelming, but don’t lose hope. Keep going. You’re being attacked because this is your breakthrough season. God is fighting for you. You have the victory.”

God is not delaying you. He’s preparing you.

Accepting God’s will
