Trouble all around.

Enough to make a person frown.

Dear God,

Thank you for morning, noon and night.

Thank you for making all that’s wrong right.

Thank you for the path you have laid.

Thank you for the ultimate price you paid.

Thank you for making all crooked things straight.

Thank you for making even dark moments great.

Thank you for lessons learned.

Thank you for the heart that yearned.

Thank you for everything large and small.

Thank you for it all.

I go through each day with little fanfare.

I let go of what I share.

I never hesitate to bask in the love offered.

I know God’s eyes are on me.

I lift my voice in praise.

With that, my joy, I raise.
