Resilience, means forging ahead in spite of life’s challenges. Remaining focused on the end goal. Resilience, embracing our God given gifts, becoming emboldened in the spirits He lifts. Resilience, understanding that what has been ordained cannot be stopped. Resilience, realizing that God answers prayers in His own way and time. Knowing He will keep us in our prime. Resilience, realizing that hurdles are intended to help us discover what God has placed in us. In Him we must trust. Resilience, make no mistake, it’s the key to success in life. It helps to relieve all strife. Resilience.

Continuing the journey, not matter what comes. Embracing all that life brings to me in every way. Praising God every day. I’m dancing with life. Understanding that life is unpredictable and there are no guarantees. Taking a moment to smell all the trees. Dancing with life. Standing up for what’s right. Knowing who makes the day bright.  Dancing with life. Looking beneath the surface while in pursuit of everything I see. Knowing who always blesses me. Dancing with life. The power of purpose means never forgetting what’s truly important. The power of purpose means knowing that nothing can stop what’s been ordained by God. The power of purpose means understanding how to give and receive love. Knowing what fits like a hand and glove. The power of purpose means more than many  know. It’s the only way an individual can grow. The power of purpose is larger than all of us. Purpose is the one thing we can do that will matter. Our God given purpose will never be shatter. The power of purpose will guide and direct. The power of purpose will never deflect. The power of purpose is a part of us all. The power of purpose can be either large of small. The power of purpose means a great deal.

Dawn rises of the universe under the watchful eye of the Almighty. Mankind shouldn’t be afraid, even slightly. Trials and tribulations come and go, this much we know. We have good moments, bad moments, happy moments and sad moments. We continue along our journey, despite the unknown. What we endure just proves how much we’ve grown. Prayer and God’s grace guide us along the way. We see this every day. The journey continues. Nothing is ever predictable. We deal with what comes. We know that life isn’t intended to be stress free. God will always strengthen thee. The journey continues. Life is an adventure. Filled with many twists, turns and curveballs. The journey continues.

Never forgetting the blessings of the Most High, forgetting about what makes me cry. Staying strong and holding on to all that matters. Ensuring that no dream ever scatters. Getting to happy. Looking at all that life entails. Taking care of all the details. Leaving the insignificant behind. Knowing that I’m not blind. Getting to happy. Seeing the bright morning sun. Loving everyone. Starring into the darkness of night. Seeing the truth come to light. Getting to happy. Taking nothing for granted. Making certain that nothing is slanted. Getting to happy. Following a clear path, which has been laid. Looking at all the beauty that God has made. Getting to happy. Life is much simpler when you realize what’s important. Who opens every door. Who offers you more. Getting to happy. No matter where the journey leads, there are lessons to learn along the way. You can see them every day. Getting to happy. Understanding that prayer works. Results speak for themselves. Getting to happy.

Starring coldly into my mirror, I see the good, bad and ugly of my humanity. I fight to maintain my sanity. I think of the years I’ve bled and the tears I’ve shed. On many occasions, I’ve gone against the grain, dealt with stress and strain. My mind wanders in many directions in various reflections, wondering how I’ve made it this far. I take a moment to treat my wounds, knowing that I’ll likely have many other moments like this. Yet, I’m in total bliss. The lessons learned have caused me to take a turn. Take a turn in a positive direction, after a moment of reflection. I give praise where it’s due, for the Most High leads the way. He remains a presence each day. I’ve experienced the highest of highs and lowest of lows. Yet, my life grows. I have no reason to complain. Let me make it plain. I’m blessed. While I strive, I also continue to thrive. Every trial and tribulation has made me stronger. I cry no longer. I’ve tasted all the sweetness and bitterness life has to offer. I’ve laid in the bed I made. The mistakes I’ve made, I won’t take to my grave. With God’s grace, I’ve been brave. If I had to do it all again, I would. I would do it in the skin I’m in. I know where I’ve been. I’ll continue to what it takes to become a better version of myself. One step at a time. I know reflection is good for the soul. Reflection will take me far. It will make certain that I’m always up to par.
