I awaken to the dawn of a new day

Very thankful that the Most High guides me in every way

I marvel at the beauty that surrounds me

Knowing it was meant to be

I’ve tasted the sweetness of success

And the bitterness of failure

But I continue to forge ahead

I stay in prayer instead

I reflect fondly on the past

And look forward to the future

One thing I know for sure

The world is a beautiful place

I enjoy the space

It’s a place I strive to make better

To the letter

I love others as God loves me

That’s the way things are suppose to be

Between the world and me
