Embracing blessings granted

My viewpoint isn’t slanted

Singing a song of praise

My voice I raise

Feeling so much joy

Joy that only God can employ

Allowing trials to make me strong

Moving along

Moments shared

The dreams I’ve dared

Staying in prayer

Because God is there

Nursing my wounds

Embracing lessons learned

Receiving that for which I’ve yearned

Fulfilling my purpose

Trusting God the most

Trusting his plan

Holding his hand

Becoming better every day

Letting God lead the way

Embracing life from beginning to end

Cause I don’t have to pretend
