What I know for sure

Is that the human heart is pure

Obstacles appear at every turn

We continue to build our strength by grace

In every place

Obstacles make us stronger

Help us hold on a little longer

Is that God helps us grow through what we go through

No matter what we do

Life is a marathon, not a sprint

We have to push forward

What I know for sure

Is that a purpose will be fulfilled

It is what God has willed

The journey will be glorious

We will be victorious

Is that life contains many lessons

Along with it many blessings

Blessings beyond measure

Beholding the gift of life is a pleasure

What I know for sure

Is that in the end we have a lot to gain

Despite some pain

We’ll raise our voices in praise

For the rest of our days
