I once was lost

And now I’m found

I’ve placed my feet on solid ground

I used to hide in shame

Now everyone knows my name

I’m free from the chains that bind me

I won’t let the past define me

I’ve let go of the past

I’m making memories that will last

I’ll go far

As I reach for a star

I’m free of what won’t let me grow

I’ll share what I know

I now walk with pride

I have nothing to hide

It’s crystal clear

My destiny is near

I ignore naysayers

Instead, I say my prayers

I’ve taken a stand
