I get a glimpse of the morning sun

I count my blessings

Each and every one

I smell the roses

Sweeter than morning dew

I know God has brought me through

I embrace all that life stands for

I eagerly anticipate what’s in store

I know God has a plan

He’ll provide a soft place to land

I ignore those who say it can’t be done

I take a stand

Hold God’s hand

I’m in  a place of peace

My stress I release

I feel my power

Hour upon hour

I’ll be all I was created to be

God will stand by me

I feel grace

In every place

I’m ready for my test

God will handle the rest

I’ll continue the journey until the end

Even if I fall
