I look back over the course of my life

Prayer has helped me deal with strife

I’ve left old things behind

A walk with God helps ease my mind

I embrace love

Love from heaven above

I follow the path that God laid

I hold on to the promises He made

My purpose is clear

I hold it near

My confidence has risen

More than I thought possible

I’ve found my way

I’d have to say

I feel my power

Hour upon hour

It’s easy to see

What’s meant to be

I was lost  but now I’m found

My feet are planted on solid ground

This is not a revolution

It’s my evolution
