At the river I stand

While praying and holding God’s hand

I reflect and press forward at the same time

I continue my journey while in my prime

I count the blessings granted

And water the seeds planted

Where God shows me where to go

And teaches me lessons that help me grow

His love is pure

Of that I’m sure

A place filled with beauty and mystery

Yet I discover what’s meant to be
