I walked down the path God laid

I thanked Him for the sacrifices He made

My purpose became clear that fateful day

I wouldn’t have it any other way

It was meant to be

He proved His love  was  pure

When He  lead me down the path

It was a long, winding journey

Ordained by God only

It was a moment I’ll never forget

And one I’ll never regret

I saw life in its splendor

My faith I’ll never surrender

I learned to stand tall

And to answer God’s call

God worked things out

I hold my head up high
