I was awakened by the rising sun

I counted my blessings

Then thanked God for every one

As I ate breakfast

I thought about how far I’ve come

And the moment when God dried my tears

And eased all my fears

I came into my own

Thanks to the man on the throne

I know I have much further to go

The journey will help me grow

I pray every day

And God shows me the way

My voice I raise

In a song of praise

My purpose is clear

I’ll hold it dear

It’s God given

I’ll remain driven

God is with me

That’s the way it’s suppose to be

Until the end

There’s no need to pretend

Upon much introspection

These are my reflections

Trust God. He will fight every battle and supply every need.

I received a letter in the  mail today

It was the best thing that came my way

I knew it would come

I opened it and savored the words

Each and every one

It said you missed me and you’d be back soon

It mentioned how our love grew

Despite all that we’ve been through

You said we’ve remained strong

As we’ve moved along

The letter

Said that you couldn’t wait to hold me again

That faith has helped us win

Through all the stress and strain

We still have much to gain

Our destiny is clear

We must keep God near

Our love is a blessing

A treasure to behold

A story waiting to be told

Reassured me of what I’ve always known

That I cherish the love you’ve shown

It’s one I’ll never forget

And one I’ll never regret

I rejoice

Whenever I hear your voice

Showed that without a doubt

We’ll work things out

Our love is here to stay

And I have to say

That’s what appeared as I read

Give all your burdens to God and He will give you strength.

Everything is blooming

Time to see what’s looming

The old has become new

Time to change our point of view

A new path has been laid

Time to see what God has made

Spring is here

Everything has changed for the better

Let’s follow our hearts to the letter

New blessings have arrived

Let’s see how we’ve thrived

God has kept us strong

As we’ve moved along

A sign of things to come

Let’s prepare for possibilities

The seasons have changed

Our lives must be rearranged

The process will be sweet

Trust God. He’s working your situation out.

I see the sight

God isn’t asking you to figure it out. He’s asking you to trust that He already has.

I look at the path ahead

I pray and joy begins to spread

The journey won’t take long

Faith will keep me strong

I feel my power

Hour after hour

I see clearly what is meant to be

Life will reveal the best of me

God has given me a purpose

Everything will come to the surface
