This is no mystery

Filled with tips to help me succeed

It helps me with what’s outside

My joy I can’t hide

From heaven above

I want to say humbly before I roam

That I thank God for my home

Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being positive about what could go right.

My journey has been filled with ups and downs

My journey  has  been filled with changes and turn arounds

Yet God has been with me every step of the way

As I’ve prayed every day

My journey has been long

But God has kept me strong

He never left me

He unveiled every mystery

My journey has a purpose

I saw it come to the surface

It was pre-planned

I know where I stand

My journey isn’t complete

I have much further to go

I’ll share what I know

My journey will help me remain secure

My journey will keep my heart pure

Faith and prayer will be the seeds planted

I’ll take nothing for granted

My journey doesn’t cause me shame

I know my name

I’ll stay on the right road

My burdens I’ll unload

As I complete my journey

What you are going through isn’t a storm, it’s a transition. God is going to use these circumstances to shape and mold you.

In retrospect

I remember the day we met

I thought life was as good as it could get

We did a lover’s dance

As we met by chance

We thought things wouldn’t get any better

We loved each other to the letter

In retrospect

I remember the conversations we had

They always made me glad

They reflected our love

Sent from heaven above

We held hands

As we made plans

We knew the deal

What we felt was real

In retrospect

We continued our journey

Ordained by  God only

We forged ahead

While praying instead

I don’t know where time went

Seems we’ve become spent

As I look back with respect

I’ll remember you

And all God carried us through

Your time is coming. God will open that door.

I’m on my way

To a much brighter day

A path has been laid for me

I can clearly see my destiny

It’s something God made plain

I have a lot to gain

I’m on my way

To bigger and better things

I feel the joy my journey brings

My purpose is at the core

And there’s much more

I’ll forge ahead

While praying instead

To a life I’ll love

It’ll be sweeter than a dove

The stage is set

There’s nothing to regret

There’s a lot inside

My heart won’t let me hide

To what I know to be true

God will carry me through

Trust God. He has everything under control.
