Today

Marks a turning point for me

I’ve committed to being the best I can be

Everything’s set in stone

The feelings I have won’t leave me alone

God planted the seed

Of his word I’ll take heed

Today

I carry life’s lessons along on my journey

One ordained by God only

They’ve given me purpose

It’s finally come to the surface

What’s inside me rings true

It’ll carry me through

Today

I take a stand

As God holds my hand

He gives me direction

And provides protection

He keeps me strong

As I move along

Today

I end one chapter and start another

God’s grace is like no other

I thank Him for the path He laid

And the sacrifices He made

Today

I  move forward without fear

God is near

God is great
