I woke up this morning

Filled with joy and much more

God’s love fills me to the core

I looked out my window and saw the sun

I thanked God for blessings granted

Each and every one

I woke up this morning

Thinking of what I’d do

And all that God has carried me through

He leads the way

As I pray every day

He keeps me strong

As I move along

I woke up this morning

Thinking of lessons learned

I carry them with me

Because that’s how it should be

My faith has been put to the test

But God knows best

He is my guiding light

He makes my dark days bright

I woke up this morning

Thinking of what’s to come

God’s not done

He’s a treasure

Beyond all measure

With much preparation

And without hesitation

I thanked Him

When I woke up this morning

You might be worried, stressed, or confused, but God will make the right things happen so it will all be okay.

Dear God,

Thank you for the precious gift of life

Thank you for the strength to get through strife

You are a wonder to behold

And the greatest story ever told

You provide light in dark places

And fill empty spaces

Oh God,

Your grace and guidance are a treasure

Beyond all measure

I know your love is true

You carry me through

I’ll never take you for granted

I’ll water the seeds planted

Oh God,

Without you there’s no me

That’s no mystery

You are the reason

For every season

I feel your power

Hour after hour

Oh God,

I know you planned my journey

I praise you only

My gratitude I can’t hide

I say with pride

Thank you for the joy you bring

Thank you for everything

Amen

Stay the course. God will not abandon you.

For sure

We’ve embarked on a journey

Ordained by God only

The path has been laid

Let’s thank Him for the sacrifices He’s made

His grace and  guidance are a treasure

Beyond all measure

For sure

W can proceed without fear

God is near

Best of all

He’ll hear our call

We have a purpose

It has come to the surface

For sure

Blessings have been granted

Let’s water the seeds planted

Everything’s set in stone

We can’t leave it alone

Having faith is a must

In God we trust

For sure

There’s more to come

It’ll help us grow

Share what we know

We can see God’s power

Hour after hour

He’ll take the lead

In His word we must heed

For sure

God sees your pain. He will provide a way. Bigger and greater than before!

I’m riding with the wind

I can see where my journey will begin

God will guide me every step of the way

As I pray every day

I feel my own power

Hour after hour

I’m riding with the wind

Knowing nothing can stop me

I’m where I’m suppose to be

I share what I know

And experience lets me grow

I embrace life in its splendor

My faith I’ll never surrender

I’m riding with the wind

I embrace the woman God created

That can’t be debated

My gifts are to be shared

And I am prepared

That’s my purpose

I saw it come to the surface

I’m riding with the wind

I’ll follow God’s lead

He’ll help me succeed

I’ll go far

As I reach for a star

With God I stand

While holding His hand

I’m at His command

While I’m riding with the wind

 

God will provide! So stop complaining while you are waiting. Get ready!  You must be prepared.

One day I let go of the past

And began making memories to last

It didn’t take long

It was a matter of being strong

My purpose became clear

And I hold it near

My awakening was outside the norm

It was the perfect storm

I looked inside myself to see what was there

I saw a God that who let me know He does care

My path was set in stone

It won’t leave me alone

I can clearly see

What’s meant to be

I know God works relentlessly

I love Him completely

He gives me direction

As well as protection

I know which way to go

And God will help me grow

A new chapter of  my life has begun
