As I look at the sky

I don’t have to wonder why

I see my purpose clearly

And I hold it dearly

God has been my guide

I say so with pride

As I look at the sky

I embrace every blessing granted

And water the seeds planted

God fills me to the core

I know what life holds in store

I’ll take a stand

While holding God’s hand

As I look at the sky

I know my journey is meant to be

I thank and praise God totally

I have no fear

Because He’s always near

I have a lot to gain

I’ll let go of the strain

As I look at the sky

I value what God created

And let Him know He’s appreciated

Everything’s set in stone

He’ll never leave me alone

I feel His presence hour upon hour

I can’t ignore His power

He is great

He makes crooked things straight
