In my mind I count blessings as I go

I embrace what will help me grow

I thank God in advance

While doing a praise dance

I let go of the past

While making memories that will last

In my mind I see who I was meant to be

Life won’t get the best of me

I begin and end each day with a prayer

Because God is there

I remain strong

As I move right along

In my mind I’ve traveled distances far and wide

My faith I won’t hide

For God leads the way

He gives me peace

A peace I can’t release

Life is as good as it gets

There’s a purpose for everything
