I woke up to the glistening sun

I counted my blessings

Each and every one

The birds sang as I started on my way

I thanked God for another day

I prepared for everything

As I thought of the joy life can bring

I focused on my God given purpose

I saw it come to the surface

Over breakfast and coffee God made it plain

I have a lot to gain

I listening intently

I followed instructions completely

And now I’m on to something new

Thanks to a different point of view

Reaching my potential didn’t take long

My faith has kept me strong

Naysayers aren’t a hinderance

I  just rely on God’s deliverance

Now it’s abundantly clear

There’s nothing to fear

I take nothing for granted

The seed has been planted

To be truthful

I had a morning beautiful
