We need understanding for sure

It keeps the heart pure

God will lead the way

Let’s pray everyday

Let’s stay on course

Without a bit of remorse

We need understanding

To see who we are

While gazing at a shinning star

Our purpose will become clear

We should hold it dear

God is in plain view

He’ll carry us through

We need understanding

It will keep us strong

As we move along

We’ll see what’s meant to be

God will unveil every mystery

He’ll give us strength

As we talk with Him at length

We need understanding

To help us grow

And share what we know

We’ll embrace what God created

And see that He never hesitated

We’ll come to know our own power

We’ll feel it hour upon hour

Let’s  take a stand

As we hold God’s hand

Without any pandering

We’ll develop an understanding
