He had a lot to say

He reassured me in every way

He held me close

When I needed it most

He eased my pain

He told me I had a lot to gain

It soothed my soul for sure

I found that His love is pure

He gave me strength

As we talked at length

He turned me around

He put me on solid ground

He made me feel alive

He told me I can survive

He gave me what I needed

His word I’ve heeded

He filled me to the core

I’m going back for more
