I may not be very attractive

Or for that matter very reactive

I may not be a prize

Or built to suit a fashion model’s size

I don’t sit on a throne

With a heart of stone

Some don’t know what they see in me

I was created by God most certainly

My power comes from within

Faith helps me win

I’ve been defamed

I’ve been shamed

Life throws a lot my way

But I pray every day

Prayer keeps me strong

As I move along

I face ridicule

But I follow the golden rule

I take nothing for granted
