Last night

I cried myself to sleep

My emotions ran deep

I cried tears of joy

As I counted blessings granted

And watered the seeds I planted

I knew I wasn’t alone

Everything was set in stone

I felt God’s presence everywhere

The love was pure

It made me feel secure

I felt His power

In the Midnight hour

I saw what’s true

And all God has brought me through

Faith is the key

Before I want to bed

I heard God say

He would make a way

He turned me around

Put me on solid ground

His will is clear

I hold it dear

I’ve gained new insight
