As I look in the mirror of my mind

I see everything I left behind

Prayer pulls me through

And I change my point of view

I continue to grow

As I share what I know

As I look in the mirror  of my mind

I learn many lessons along the way

And I get stronger every day

It may seem strange

But everything’s changed

Life is grand

I’ll hold God’s unchanging hand

As I look in the mirror of my mind

I see that God is one of a kind

His heart is pure

He makes me feel secure

He’s turned me around

And put my feet on solid ground

As I look in the mirror of my mind

I see what’s meant to be

Life won’t get the best of me

I’ve embarked on a journey

Ordained by God only

He’s made His will clear

I hold it dear

From the very start

I acknowledge what’s in my heart
