The woman in me

Is  blessed as can be

I share my love

Which was sent from heaven above

I continue to grow

As I share what I know

I plant seeds

And I do good deeds

The woman in me

Can see what’s meant to be

Life tries to lead me astray

But I always find my way

The road is long

But faith keeps me strong

I know where I stand

With one touch of God’s hand

The woman in me

Is extremely proud

I don’t have to talk real loud

I continue a  journey

Ordained by God only

I’m in a better place

Due to his guidance and grace

As I look around

I can’t escape the joy I’ve found

I’ve been through the fire

Down to the wire

And emerged from the other side

My scars I can’t hide

I’m where I should be

And it’s easy to see
