As the dawn of a new day greets me

I count my blessings immediately

God is the flame that lights my way

It gets stronger every day

As I look at what He’s brought me through

I can see that His love is true

He turned me around

Put my feet on solid ground

My life contains lessons I’ll never forget

There’s nothing to regret

I stay in prayer

Cause God is always there

I fall and rise again

But my faith helps me win

I share my love

Cause it was sent from heaven above

I’ve grown a lot for sure

My heart will remain pure

Everything’s set in stone

God won’t leave me alone

Through heartache and pain

I have a lot to gain

Let’s be clear

I don’t live in fear
