My heart says a silent prayer

As I thank God for being there

As it sorts through every emotion

My heart dispels every ridiculous notion

The process takes time

So it occurs during my prime

My heart is kind for sure

It will always remain pure

My heart creates a safe space

I know I can finish my race

My heart is full of love

It was sent from heaven above

My heart is true

I see what God has brought me through

My heart will never stray

I’ll let God lead the way

My heart will remain strong

Be it right or wrong

God’s grace is second to none
