I awakened with a different view

I saw what God brought me through

I couldn’t hide

What I felt inside

Prayer eased my pain

And relieved my strain

My journey’s been long

But faith has kept me strong

I have a new purpose

I saw it come to the surface

God made His will clear

I hold it dear

Nothing’s been the same

Victory is what I claim

I take nothing for granted

The seeds have been planted

I focus on new dreams

Until I burst at the seams

I’m in a better place

Due to God’s guidance and grace

I know for sure

That His heart is pure

He’s turned me around

Put me on solid ground

I have no regrets

Life is as good as it gets

Challenges make me smile

As I work for a while

In a loud voice

I will rejoice

For this day represents a new beginning
