The moment I wake

I give thanks where it’s due

I see what God brought me through

I set out on a journey

Ordained by God only

I learn along the way

I grow every day

It becomes clear

My destiny is near

I share love

Sent from heaven above

My mind reflects

On what God expects

I feel His power

Hour upon hour

I live with zeal

Cause I know what’s real

I use the past as motivation

To change every situation

Right or wrong

Faith keeps me strong

I embrace the best of me

Cause that’s how it should be

I never fear

I know God is always near

I’m filled with peace

I don’t want to release

Naysayers I ignore

It’s God I adore

I’m on solid ground

Thanks to the joy I found
