We embark on each journey

Ordained by God only

We find road blocks along the way

But we pray every day

We stumble as we go

But life lessons help us grow

We continue without fear

Because we know God is near

Despite heartache and pain

We know what we’ll gain

Naysayers try to bring us down

But God’s grace can always be found

Every emotional scar

Proves we’ll go far

And in the end

We won’t pretend

Our journey was easy

Our experience is a lesson

We’ll make a confession

No matter what we do

Or what life puts us through

It’s all a test of faith
