As I look in my rear view mirror

My vision becomes clearer

I see how God made a way

And I pray every day

Old things are left behind

As I search for peace of mind

God is the key

He brings out the best in me

I see my past

I make every moment last

For every moment is a lesson

I’ve made my confession

I take nothing for granted

I water the seeds God planted

I can see my purpose

Coming to the surface

As I look in the mirror

Fear and doubt disappear

I know how far I can go

I cherish things that help me grow

I embrace a love

Sent from heaven above

I continue my journey

I’ve been ordained by God only

I’ll reach solid ground

Thanks to the joy I’ve found

For what God has done becomes clearer
