As I travel distant places

I see some unfamiliar faces

I see what the path can offer me

Sometimes I think that’s how it should be

As I continue on my way

I pray every day

I begin to explore

While God fills me to the core

I learn all I can

As He unveils His plan

I take a different stance

Because I’ve been given a second chance

My heart’s all aglow

As I share what I know

I don’t hesitate

To say what makes me great

The road is long

But faith keeps me strong

It took a long time

To reach my prime

Now that I’m here

One thing is clear

I can finally see my purpose

Coming to the surface

I’ll never doubt God again

He helped me win

I no longer roam

For I’ve found the road home
