I’m moving on

This is a new season

God is the reason

I can’t stay in the same place

I’ve started another race

I see my destiny up ahead

I embrace it without an ounce of dread

I take this stand

While holding God’s unchanging hand

He is the key

He brings out the best in me

I”m moving on

It’s a new day

I’ve gotten rid of the old way

I’m on a different path

I won’t suffer God’s wrath

He guides and directs

He also protects

I see my purpose

Coming to the surface

I can’t let it go

It’ll help me grow

I’ve let go of what weighs me down

I no longer wear a frown

I’ve embarked on a journey

Ordained by God only

God will be there

With tender, loving care

Victory has been won

And I’m moving on
