I awaken every morning

My heart all aglow

Faith has taught me everything I know

Though I feel pain every now and then

Prayer is where I always begin

Every day is a journey

Ordained by God only

There’s nothing to fear

Because He’s always near

He loves me dearly

And that’s the way it’s suppose to be

I’m never alone

I trust the man on the throne

He fills me to the core

Then offers me more

I’ve never felt so secure

I know His love is pure

It’s the best I’ve every known

He’s the reason I’ve grown

He’s all in me
