Trials and tribulations appear

They try to fill us with fear

We face heartache and pain

Knowing what we’ll gain

Every step we take

Shows the memories we’ll make

The journey is long

But faith keeps us strong

We stumble time and time again

But God shows us how to win

Naysayers we ignore

Cause God has filled us to the core

Whenever we’re filled with doubt

He works things out

We face ridicule and shame

But God knows our name

As we go through the day

He sends blessings our way

Fate tries to bring us down

But we proceed without wearing a frown

For God strengthens our resolve
