I’m riding with the wind

I don’t know when the ride will end

I start with a prayer

Because God is there

I embrace life lessons as I go

And that helps me grow

I see life as it should be

Faith brings out the best in me

I’m riding with the wind

No need to pretend

I’ve embarked on a journey

Ordained by God only

He guides me every day

I wouldn’t have it any other way

The days are long

But his word keeps me strong

I”m riding with the wind

Don’t know when it’ll end

God sets the pace

As I run my race

No matter what I do

He carries me through

Naysayers I ignore

Because God has filled me to the core

I know I’ll go far

By reaching for a star

I have no regrets

Life is as good as it gets

So to that end

I’ll keep riding with the wind
