As I start my day with a silent prayer

God lets me know He’s there

He guides me during my journey

And I pledge my allegiance to Him only

I go through the fire

To obtain what I desire

My faith is the key

It brings out the best in me

My strength and resolve grow

As I begin to share what I know

Some wonder how I can bend and not break

But God knows how much I can take

I continue on my way

While praising Him every day

I see what’s real

And I live it with zeal

In a loud voice

I begin to rejoice

Because I’m finally getting to happy
