My God is a wonder to behold

He’s a story waiting to be told

He eases fears

And He dries tears

He  makes a way

He’s present every day

He stands on His word

It’s one that should be heard

My God is real

I embrace His will with zeal

Right or wrong

He keeps me strong

He’s my guiding light

He makes cloudy days bright

His heart is pure

He makes me feel secure

My God is faithful and true

I see what He’s brought me through

He stays by my side

My gratitude I can’t hide

Everyone can see

He brings out the best in me

He holds my hand

As He reveals His plan

I’ll shower Him with praise

For the rest of my days

For He is my God
