Roses everywhere

I smell the scent in the air

With a wink and a nod

I give thanks to God

I’m not stressing

I can see my blessing

I can clearly see

My destiny

I see roses everywhere

I know God is there

Leading the way

Watching me every day

I learn as I go

The lessons help me grow

I can’t hide

The joy I feel inside

Before I wake

God knows how much I can take

So I’ll continue my journey

It was ordained by God only

For with a few poses

I’ll stop and smell the roses
