I travel from place to place

As I run my own race

No matter how near or far

My dreams are on par

They’re the heart of me

I know where I should be

God says He’s there

As I say a silent prayer

Right or wrong

My faith keeps me strong

I continue my journey

As ordained by God only

I learn as I go

The lessons help me grow

I embrace everything I find

Cause that gives me peace of mind

Every day brings something new

And I change my point of view

I discover my power

I feel it hour after hour

I continue on my way

I count my blessings every day

I see my purpose

Come to the surface

It makes me smile

And praise God for a while

I keep going

While knowing

I stayed on the right path

And I didn’t suffer God’s wrath

It was His will

He loves me still

I’m a conqueror

But some call me the wanderer
