I searched high and low

For something to help me grow

What can I say

I lost my way

I wanted more

Something to fill me to the core

Then God came along

And taught me to be strong

Now everyone can see

I’m in the place to be

I’ve traveled far and wide

My mileage I can’t hide

I learned valuable lessons

While making confessions

I looked around

For solid ground

God led me in the right direction

With plenty of protection

It’s plain to see

I’m in the place to be

I was all alone

Trying to find my zone

I had to learn why

Life made me cry

It was a journey

Meant for me only

God planted the seed

And that’s a blessing indeed

Now I can see
