I awaken each day

As trials come my way

Although I stumble

The lessons make me humble

I carry my principles with me

That should be easy to see

I let go of fear

Cause God is always near

He plants every seed

He sends every blessing indeed

Naysayers come and go

But naysayers help me grow

I stay faithful and true

I see what God has brought me through

Each step I take

Is a memory I can make

Nothing can make me mad

Cause I’m so glad
