I stare opposition in the eye

Without ever wondering why

I keep miracles close to me

Cause that’s where they’re suppose to be

I ignore naysayers

Instead I say my prayers

God is my guide

My praise I’ll never hide

I embrace what’s true

And all God’s brought me through

As I endure a lot of pain

I see what I have to gain

I fall and rise again

But faith helps me win

Despite my difficult past

I know I’m built to last

I keep God close

He loves me more than most

No matter where I stand

I can take God’s hand

When I need solid ground

I know where it can be found

Even on bad days

He uplifts me in many ways

He gives me everything I miss

And that’s why I’m fearless
