I’ve got the winter blues

I guess it’s what I can use

As I watch the snow fall

I find meaning in it all

God shows me a sign

And that makes me feel fine

I know there’s a way

To get through each day

Winter brings pain

But I see what I can gain

I fall and rise again

But faith helps me win

I see the naysayers

But I continue saying my prayers

I open my eyes

And it’s no surprise

No matter what I do

God carries me through

Winter leads to purpose

I see it come to the surface

Right or wrong

I know where I belong

My journey is a lesson

I must make that confession

I can clearly see

What’s meant to be

So I have what I can use

As I face the winter blues
