I’ve been through the fire

Down to the wire

And I’ve been defamed

I’ve been left to die

While wondering why

I’ve been left alone

With nothing to call my own

But I’m still here

I’ve been in despair

With no one to care

I’ve fallen to my knees

Not knowing who to please

I’ve been weak

Until I heard God speak

I’ve lost my way

But prayed every day

And  I’m still here
