In the morning

I open my eyes

To a beautiful sunrise

I say a silent prayer

Cause God is standing there

I start my journey

As ordained by Him only

I stumble along the way

But grace saves me every day

I learn as I go

And I share what I know

What’s in front of me

Is meant to be

I submit to His will

Cause He loves me still

Naysayers I ignore

Cause I’m filled to the core

Nothing could be better

I love life to the letter

It’s all by design

Everything is fine

I continue my trip

I let my smile rip

Cause I know I’ll win
