I’ve been through the fire

Down to the wire

As I looked for my name

I hung my head in shame

I’ve lost my way

While getting through every day

I’ve been shamed

I’ve been defamed

Like never before

As life hurt me to the core

I’ve stumbled here and there

But found tender loving care

It’s no mystery

That God found me

He turned me around

Put my feet on solid ground

What He’s done

Is second to none

I feel brand new

I’ve changed my point of view

I follow God’s direction

For this is my resurrection
