Before I wake

A deep breath I’ll take

So sweet and pure

It’ll make me feel secure

I’ll feel God’s love

Like heaven above

I’ll get some rest

Before my next test

And I’ll bask in God’s grace

In another place

Before I wake

God will create a plan

As He tells me I can

He’ll provide a way

To get through each day

He’ll fill me to the core

Then offer me more

I’ll wake with a smile

Which will last a while

The world will see

The very best of me

It won’t take long

To see where I belong

God will be my light

Both day and night

And He’ll see what I can take
